Tucson Electric Power (TEP) offers multiple ways for customers to pay their electric bill, including the convenient option of paying by credit card. Pay Online
The fastest way to pay your TEP bill with a credit card is through the online payment portal. Simply visit the TEP website and select “Pay Now by Credit or Debit Card” under the “Looking to make a single payment?” section.
You’ll be redirected to a secure payment page Enter your 10-digit TEP account number, service address zip code, and credit card details The payment will be immediately processed on your account.
TEP does not charge a fee for online credit card payments, but your card issuer may. Online payments are posted to your account within 1 business day.
Pay by Phone
Call the TEP automated phone payment system at 520-623-7711 and select the credit card payment option. You’ll need to enter your TEP account number and address.
A convenience fee of $2.95 is charged for phone credit card payments. But payments post to your account same-day, avoiding late fees.
Pay In-Person
Visit one of two TEP Customer Service Offices during business hours to pay by credit card in person. Bring your latest bill or know your 10-digit account number.

TEP has partnered with retail stores like Fry’s Food Stores, Walmart, and Ace Cash Express to accept credit card bill payments. Locate a nearby authorized payment center on the TEP website.
A convenience fee will be charged by the retail partner for credit card payments, not TEP. Cash payments don’t have a fee.

Download the free TEP app on your Apple or Android device. Register your account in the app and securely pay by credit card anytime, anywhere. The mobile app is convenient for on-the-go payments.
Understand Convenience Fees
While TEP does not charge a fee for online credit card payments, third-party processors do charge TEP a fee per transaction. These fees allow TEP to offer the convenience of credit card payments.
That’s why you’ll see a convenience fee of around $3 for phone and in-person credit card payments. Online and mobile app payments remain free.
