Open Enrollment begins on November 1, 2024, and ends on January 15, 2025. You may be eligible for coverage now through a special enrollment period.
New Mexico Health Connections (NMHC) offers several convenient options for members to pay their monthly premium bill. Whether you prefer to pay online, by phone, by mail or in-person, NMHC aims to provide flexible payment solutions to meet enrollee needs This comprehensive guide will explain the various methods to pay your NMHC bill so you can choose the best option for you
Online Bill Pay
The easiest way for most members to pay their NMHC premium bill is online through the health plan’s member portal. To access the portal, go to mynmhc.org and log into your account.
Under the “Billing” tab you can view your account balance and make one-time payments. The portal allows you to store a credit card debit card, or bank account for automated payments. You can also set up recurring payments to be automatically deducted each month.

Paying through the secure member portal is the most convenient way for NMHC members to pay their monthly premiums.
Phone Payment
NMHC members can also pay their premium bill easily over the phone by calling 1-855-7NM-4YOU (1-855-766-4968).
When you call, an automated system will guide you through making a payment using your credit card, debit card, HSA card, or bank account. You can also check your account balance at any time using the automated phone system.
As with online payments, phone payments are secure and processed immediately when you call.

If you prefer to mail in a payment, you can send a check or money order to:

Be sure to include your member ID number on the check or money order so your payment is applied correctly. Allow 5-7 business days for mailed payments to reach NMHC and be processed.
In-Person Payment
You can also make a premium payment in-person at the NMHC administrative office located at:

The office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. When paying in-person, you can pay by cash, check, money order, debit or credit card.
Third-Party Bill Pay
Many banks and credit unions offer bill pay services you can use to pay your NMHC premiums. This allows you to pay your bill directly from your bank account.
Check with your financial institution to see if they offer bill pay. Payments via bill pay take 5-7 business days to reach NMHC by mail.
Avoid Late Payment Fees
NMHC premium payments are due by the first day of each month. A grace period is offered until the end of the month. Payments received after the grace period ends will incur a late fee.
Get in the habit of paying early each month to avoid any late fees. Setting up auto-pay through the member portal or your bank’s bill pay are great options to stay on track.

If you are ever unable to pay your full premium amount due to financial hardship, NMHC can help. You may qualify for federal financial assistance through BeWellnm. You can also request to be placed on a payment plan to pay your balance over time while maintaining coverage.
