Online payments process immediately if made before 5 PM on business days. You can pay anytime 24/7 for convenience. Online payment ensures your bill gets paid on time without the hassle of mailing.

Automated Phone Payments

Call 941-764-4300 and select option 1 to pay your water bill automatically using your touchtone phone. Payments can be made using credit/debit cards or a bank account. A $3.95 convenience fee applies per transaction.

This payment method is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s quick and easy for anyone who doesn’t want to log into the website to pay.

Drop Boxes

To pay by check or money order, you can use one of the drop box locations around Charlotte County. Payments made at off-site boxes may take 2-3 days to process while on-site boxes process next business day.

In-Person Payments

You can pay your water bill in person at:

• Customer Payment Center – Murdock Admin Center B-109. Open Monday-Friday 9AM-4PM except holidays. Accepts cash, check, credit/debit cards.

• Authorized Payment Locations – CVS, Walmart, 7-Eleven, etc. Take barcode from website and pay cash only. $1.49 convenience fee.

In-person payment allows immediate processing during business hours. This is a good option if you prefer paying face-to-face or need same day crediting.

Bank Bill Pay

Many banks and credit unions offer bill pay services. You can set up Charlotte County Utilities as a payee and schedule one-time or recurring payments from your account. Payments are delivered by check or electronic transfer.
