Accessing Your Bill
The easiest way to view and pay your Dayton Children’s medical bills is through our secure online patient portal, MyKidsChart. This provides 24/7 access to your account and bills
If you do not have a MyKidsChart account you can access your bill as a guest using a secure guest pay link.
Starting December 11, 2023, Dayton Children’s will transition all accounts to paperless billing. This means bills will no longer be mailed. Instead, all statements will be accessible through MyKidsChart. Families without a MyKidsChart account can easily sign up for access.
Our billing team is also available by phone Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm at 937-641-3555 or toll-free at 1-800-228-4594 for any billing questions.
Understanding Your Bill
Medical bills can be confusing with insurance terminology like co-pays, deductibles and coinsurance. Our billing team is happy to explain any charges on your statement and walk you through what you owe.
Some key things to note:

The bill from Dayton Children’s is for our hospital facility fees and physician services.

You may receive separate bills from other groups involved in your care like the emergency department physicians, radiologists, anesthesiologists or durable medical equipment companies. Their contact information will be on these statements.

If you have questions on any bill, always reach out to that provider’s billing office directly.

Dayton Children’s bills cannot be paid through our online portal. Only Dayton Children’s balances can be paid online.

Dayton Children’s provides financial assistance to families who qualify. We offer:

Apply for financial aid before, during or after your child’s care. Our financial counselors help families through the process and assist with applying for Medicaid if eligible.
Payment Plan Option
If you are unable to pay your full balance, we offer no interest payment plans to fit your budget. Plans can be set up with monthly payments as low as $25 based on your balance.
