Paying Your IID Bill Online

The fastest way to pay your electric bill with IID is online through your MyAccount. Here’s how to get set up for online bill pay:

1. Visit www.iid.com and click on MyAccount Login.

2. If you don’t already have an online account, you’ll need to register. Have your IID account number ready.

3. Once logged in, you can view your current bill, payment history, and make a payment.

4. Enter your payment amount and submit. The funds will be immediately applied to your IID account.

With online bill pay you can check your electric usage charges, and make a payment any time night or day. It’s secure, fast, and easy.

Recurring Payments

For even more convenience, you can set up recurring payments through your online IID account. This automatically drafts your bill payment each month from your chosen bank account or credit card. You don’t have to remember to log in and manually pay each bill.

Paperless Billing

Go completely paperless by enrolling in eBill. You’ll receive an email notification each month when your new IID bill is ready to view and pay online. eBill saves paper and lets you access your bill anywhere securely.

Pay by Phone

If you prefer to pay your IID bill over the phone, dial 1-760-342-3400 and select the billing and payments option. You can make a payment using your checking or savings account, along with Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, or American Express.

Pay by Mail

Mail your payment using the remittance stub and envelope included with your monthly paper bill. Be sure to allow enough time for your payment to reach IID before the due date.

If you’re having difficulty paying your IID bill, you may qualify for bill payment assistance. IID partners with county and non-profit agencies to offer the following programs:

• California Alternative Rates for Energy (CARE) – Offers lower rates to income-qualified households.

• Family Electric Rates Assistance (FERA) – Provides a monthly discount on electric bills for qualified households of 3 or more people.

IID bills are due 21 days after the statement date. A 1.5% late fee is applied to past due balances. If your bill remains unpaid for 15 days after the due date, a final notice is sent stating disconnection will occur in 15 days if the amount due is not paid.
