Paying your water bill in Hot Springs, Arkansas is easy thanks to the variety of convenient payment options offered by the city’s Utility Billing Services department I’ll walk through the different ways Hot Springs residents can pay their water bill, from online payments to paying in person

Paying Online

There is no better or faster way to pay your Hot Springs water bill than online. Start by going to the Utility Billing Services Login Page to pay online.

You’ll need to enter your account number, which is printed on your paper bill, and your last name. First time users will need to click “Register” and set up an account. Once registered, you can:

  • Pay your water bill online using a credit card or eCheck. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and check are accepted.
  • Set up automatic monthly payments so your water bill is paid automatically each month.
  • View payment history and billing statements.

It’s safe and quick to pay online, and you don’t have to worry about stamps or trips to the utility office. Every month, I like to put a note on my calendar to remind me to pay my water bill.

Paying by Phone

If you prefer to pay your Hot Springs water bill over the phone, call 1-888-242-6632. This automated payment system is available 24/7 and accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and eCheck with no additional fees.

Have your account number and payment details handy when you call. The phone system guides you through the steps to enter your account information and make a payment.

Paying by Mail

To pay your water bill by mail, write your account number on your check or money order and mail it to:

Do not mail cash. Cut out the payment slip from your water bill and put it in the envelope. Mailed payments take 5-7 days to process. Send your payment by mail at least seven days before it’s due to avoid late fees.

Paying In Person

You can pay your water bill in person at the Utility Billing Services office located at 324 Malvern Avenue in Hot Springs. The office is open Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm.

Bring your water bill with you when you pay in person. The utility office accepts cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Paying in person ensures same day processing of your payment.

Using the Drop Box

For after hours payments, three drop box locations around town allow you to drop off a check or money order anytime:

  • Parking lot at 111 Opera Street near City Hall
  • In front of the airport terminal
  • Lower parking lot entrance at 324 Malvern Avenue

Do not put cash in the drop box. Payments left in the drop box will be processed the next business day.

Setting Up Automatic Payments

To make paying your water bill even easier, consider enrolling in automatic payments. This way your water bill is paid on time each month automatically without you having to do anything.

Automatic Bank Draft

To pay by automatic bank draft from your checking or savings account, complete the Bank Draft Authorization Form and mail it to Utility Billing Services along with a voided check. Your payment will be drafted from your bank account each month on the due date.

Automatic Credit Card Payments

To enroll in automatic credit card payments, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Utility Billing Services Login Page
  2. Click “Create Profile”
  3. Enter your account number
  4. Enter your name as it appears on your bill and login
  5. Click on “Payments”
  6. Click on “Credit Card Enrollment”

Once enrolled, your credit card on file will be automatically charged each month on your due date.
