Paying your monthly Comcast bill should be quick and painless. With so many options to choose from, you can pay your bill in a way that works for your lifestyle. As a Comcast customer myself, I want to share the easiest ways I’ve found to pay my Comcast bill online or through the Xfinity app.
Pay Online Through Your Comcast Account
The easiest way to pay your Comcast bill is to sign in to your Xfinity account. com. When you log in, there will be a link right in the middle that says “Pay Bill.” If you click that link, you’ll see your balance and payment options.
From there, you can make a one-time payment or set up recurring payments I like to set up auto-pay from my checking account so I never forget and get hit with late fees. The money comes out of my account on the same day each month, and I get an email confirmation that my bill has been paid. Easy peasy!
Download the Xfinity App
Another super convenient way to pay your Comcast bill is by using the Xfinity app You can download the app for free on your iOS or Android device Just search “Xfinity” in the app store.
Once downloaded, log into the app with your Xfinity ID and password. Your account overview will pop up, with your current balance front and center. Tap the “Pay Bill” button and you’ll be walked through the simple payment process.
Being able to pay through the app is great because it’s always close at hand. So if I forget to pay my bill while I’m out and about, I can quickly log in and do it without having to remember to bring my laptop with me. The app also lets me see how much data I’m using, report outages, and do other things.
Pay by Phone
You don’t have to use a computer or phone to pay your Comcast bill. You can do it easily over the phone. Just call 1-800-XFINITY and when prompted, say “Pay Bill. For verification, you’ll need to give your account phone number and billing zip code.
After verification, you can make a one-time payment using a credit/debit card, checking account, or Comcast account balance. You’ll receive a confirmation number at the end to show the payment went through. Paying by phone takes just a couple minutes for those who prefer talking to tapping.
Pay in Person
Comcast also has a number of options for people who would rather pay their bills in person. You can pay at any Xfinity store or service center with cash, check, credit or debit card.
You can also head to a Western Union location to make a cash or money order payment. Just bring your Comcast account number and billing zip code. Payments made at Western Union by 6 PM local time will post to your account that same day.
Sign Up for Auto-Pay
The absolute easiest way to ensure your Comcast bill gets paid on time every month is to enroll in auto-pay. With autopay, the funds are automatically deducted from your bank account or charged to your credit card on the same day each month.
To enroll, login to your Comcast account online or in the Xfinity app. Click your profile, then “Settings” then “Auto Pay.” Choose whether you want payments to come from your bank account or credit/debit card. Agree to the terms and you’re all set!
One thing I’d recommend is making sure you have enough funds in your account to cover the bill on the payment date. If the auto-pay transaction fails due to insufficient funds, you could still get hit with late fees. As long as the money is there, auto-pay takes care of everything seamlessly.
Avoid Late Fees with On-Time Payments
No one likes late fees, so be sure to pay your Comcast bill by the due date each month. Comcast generally gives you a 5-7 day grace period after the due date before assessing late fees. Late fees are $10 for the first month, $15 for the second month, and $35 for the third month.
Setting payment reminders and enrolling in auto-pay are great ways to make sure your payment goes through on time. Review your monthly statement so you know what to expect for your next bill. And reach out to Comcast customer service right away if you anticipate having trouble paying on time in any given month.
Get Support from Comcast Customer Service

Some things they can help with include:
