Register for an Online Account

Follow these steps to register:

- Click “Register” and follow the prompts to create your username and password
- Provide your name, date of birth, ZIP code, and Aetna account number

Navigate to the Payment Page
To pay your bill, log into your Aetna online account and navigate to the payment page.
There are a couple ways to get to the payment system:
- Go to the “Pay Bill” tab and click “Pay Now”
- Click your name > Payment Activity > Pay Now
This will take you to Aetna’s secure payment system powered by InstaMed.
Enter Payment Details
On the payment page, you’ll provide your payment details including:
- Payment amount – Your current balance due will be shown, but you can enter a different amount if needed.
- Card details – The name, card number, expiration date, and security code for the card you want to use.
- Billing address – Enter the billing address associated with the card you’re using.
You can also sign up for auto-pay to have payments taken care of for you every month.

Get a Payment Confirmation
After you submit your payment successfully, you’ll see a confirmation page with a reference number. Be sure to save this for your records.
A confirmation email for the payment will also be sent to the address linked to your Aetna account. This will confirm the payment details for your records.
Check Payment History
To track payments you’ve made, log into your Aetna account and go to Payment Activity. Here you can see:
