Hi everyone. Fairly new here. I have an interview upcoming with a big4 firm for a intern role. However, I dont have much interview experiences, partly because Im kinda introverted. And my life thus far really doesnt have much interesting things to showcase things like “creativity”, or leadership” or other similar characteristics that many employers are looking out for.
Im really interested in the role and I would like to ensure that I do at least my best. Apart from usual things like dress code, doing your homework by researching on common questions and the firm itself, are there any tips to ace such interviews?
BIG 4 INTERVIEW QUESTIONS I GOT ASKED | KPMG | SPILLING THE TEA ON THE GRADUATE SCHEME
So I recently landed an on campus online interview for an internship position with one of the Big 4 firms for Thursday of next week. I am incredibly excited for this opportunity as I have wanted to work for one of the Big 4 companies for quite some time. With all this excitement comes a lot of nerves as I have never interviewed with any of the Big 4 companies before. I am currently a Senior, majoring in accounting, with my mind set on taking a 5th year to acquire my Masters Degree in order to reach the 150 credits needed to attain my CPA. I am interviewing for the Tax internship position. I am very nervous about this interview seeing as my GPA is a little low in the eyes of the Big 4 (I have a 3.2), so I know I most likely need to knock this interview out of the park. I have a brother who is a Tax Manager at one of the offices with the company that I am interviewing for and he has given me some guidance on the whole situation, but I would like to get some outside advice from you knowledgeable people!
Right, so I have a phone interview coming up next week and I was just wondering what are some quality questions to ask both managers and partners at the end of an interview. Ive always had a tough time thinking of questions that arent conventional (e.g. What are some of the challenges you face in your role at the firm, Why did you pick this industry etc.). Im pretty sure they get that a lot.
I got an interview with the partners I think maybe final interview, Im not sure what to exactly ask them when they ask me if I have any questions. I dont want to say I dont have any questions cause I know thats gonna be a big fuck you. I appreciate your help thank you.
