You’ll be able to enter your payment details including the amount due and your preferred payment method. Options include credit card, debit card, checking account, or PayPal. Payments made through the website by 7 pm will be applied to your account the same day.
Mobile App
The Central Georgia EMC mobile app makes it easy to pay your bill while you’re on the go. You can get it for free from the App Store or Google Play. Just search for “CGEMC” to find it.
With the app, you can check your account balance, view current and past bills, make payments and more. When making a payment in the app, you can use a credit card, debit card or PayPal. Just like on the website, payments made before 7 pm will be applied to your account right away.
The Central Georgia EMC app also allows you to opt-in to receive notifications for account updates, outages, billing alerts and more. So handy!
Text Payments
If you want to pay your electric bill via text message, Central Georgia EMC offers that too! You just need to enroll your mobile number through their Text-to-Connect system.
To enroll, text “JOIN” to 352667 from your mobile device. After confirming your enrollment, you can text “PAY” to make a payment via the credit card or bank account you have on file. You’ll receive a confirmation text when the payment processes.
Text payments can be made 24/7 and are applied to your account right away. So convenient!
Automatic Payments
For ultimate bill paying convenience, look into Central Georgia EMC’s automatic payment options. This allows your monthly electric bill payment to be automatically deducted from your credit card or bank account.
To set up automatic payments, log into your Customer Portal account online and choose “Schedule Automatic Payment” from the menu. Select your preferred payment method and date for the payments to be made monthly.
Once automatic payments are set up, you don’t have to think about your electric bill again until the amount changes. It’s deducted automatically each month. Easy!
Payment Kiosk
If you prefer to pay your bill in person with cash or card, the 24/7 payment kiosk at Central Georgia EMC’s office in Jackson is super convenient. It’s located at the front entrance of their office at 923 S. Mulberry Street.
The kiosk accepts cash, credit cards and checks. Payments are applied to your account instantly. Much easier than writing a check and mailing it in!
Pay at Local Banks
Central Georgia EMC also offers the option to pay your electric bill at local banks. You can make payments at the Bank of Monticello branch in Monticello or any Cadence Bank location in Macon.
When paying at the bank, you’ll need your Central Georgia EMC account number. Payments made at the bank before 2 pm on business days will be applied to your account the same day.
