Paying online is the most popular method, allowing you to quickly pay anytime from your computer or mobile device Here are the main online options

SmartHub: This is CTEC’s online account management system. You can pay bills directly on SmartHub using checking/savings accounts or credit/debit cards. Your payment info can be saved for future use. It’s available on both desktop and mobile.

One-Time Online Payment: Make one payment through CTEC’s website without logging in or registering for an account. Just enter your account number and payment info.

Recurring Bank Draft: Set up automatic monthly payments to be drafted from your bank account or credit card. This ensures your bill is paid on time each month. Enroll through SmartHub or by submitting a form.

Visit any of CTEC’s four local offices during business hours to pay by cash, check, credit/debit card or money order. Locations are in Fredericksburg, Llano, Kingsland, and Mason. This option works if you want to pay with the help of a customer service rep.
Payment Drop Boxes
Each CTEC office has a 24/7 drop box to leave a check or money order payment. Use this if making an after-hours payment without going online. Checks are collected daily.
Cash Payment Locations
Pay your CTEC bill in cash at retail stores like Dollar General, HEB, CVS and Walgreens. Use the barcode on your bill or in the SmartHub app. There are hundreds of payment locations through VanillaDirect and Western Union.
Payment Extensions
Contact CTEC to set up a one-time payment extension if needed to avoid disconnection. Payment plans are also available if you’re unable to pay the full amount.
