How to Pay Your Clarke-Washington EMC Electric Bill

As a customer, you have multiple options to pay your Clarke-Washington EMC electric bill conveniently each month. This guide explains the various payment methods available.

Online Bill Pay

The fastest way to pay your Clarke-Washington EMC electric bill is online through SmartHub. You can access SmartHub on the Clarke-Washington EMC website or by downloading the mobile app.

To pay online

• Login to your SmartHub account. If you don’t have one register with your account number.

• Select the “Billing & Payments” tab and choose the account you want to pay.

• Enter the payment amount and submit your credit/debit card or bank account details.

Pay By Phone

Have your account number, service address, and payment details ready when you call. You can pay by credit/debit card or electronic check over the phone. A $2.50 processing fee applies to phone payments.

Visit either Clarke-Washington EMC office during business hours to pay your bill in person:

• Chatom Office – 19120 Jordan Street, Chatom, AL 36518

Both locations are open Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm. You can pay by cash, check, credit/debit, or money order at the office. In person payments post to your account immediately.

Pay at Checkout

Through the Checkout Payments program, you can pay your Clarke-Washington EMC bill at local participating retailers including Dollar General, Piggly Wiggly, Fred’s, and Blossman Gas.

To pay at checkout:

• Get your Clarke-Washington EMC barcode online or from your monthly bill.

• Present the barcode when checking out along with your payment.
