A president is typically the head or leader of an organization, business, agency, or institution. Where a CEO exists, he is the second in command. He or she performs specific roles based on the needs of the corporation. They include providing leadership, creating, communicating, and implementing the mission of a company, leading, directing, and guiding other senior leaders, and formulating and implementing the strategic plan.
