Paying your Comcast bill online is a quick and easy way to stay on top of your payments. With just your account number, you can log in and take care of your bill in just a few minutes. As a Comcast customer myself, I find paying online to be way more convenient than mailing in a check or going to a payment center in person. In this article, I’ll walk you through how to pay your Comcast bill online using your account number.
What You Need To Pay Your Comcast Bill Online
To get started paying your Comcast bill online, you just need two things:
- Your Comcast account number
- Access to the internet
Your account number can be found on your monthly bill or by logging into your Comcast account. It is usually 9-10 digits long. As long as you have this account number you can pay your bill online even if you’ve misplaced your bill.
As long as you have an internet connection on your computer, phone, or tablet, you can access the Comcast website and log in to pay Data charges may apply if using a mobile device without Wi-Fi.
Navigating to the Comcast Website to Pay Your Bill
You need to go to the Xfinity website to pay your Comcast bill online. You can either type www. xfinity. type com into your browser or use Google to look for “Xfinity bill pay.”
Once on the Xfinity website, look for and click the “My Account” link in the top right corner. This will take you to the login page. Here, you will log in with your Comcast account number and home phone number or account PIN.
If you’ve lost your PIN, click the “Forgot PIN?” link on the login page to get it back.
Logging In and Navigating to the Payment Page
Once logged into your account, you’ll arrive at the overview page. Here you can see your account details, current bill amount, and more.
To pay your bill, look for and click the “View Current Bill” or “Pay Bill” button. This will take you to the payment page.
On the payment page, you’ll see your account balance and payment due date. You can review details of your current charges before proceeding to payment options.
Selecting a Payment Method
Comcast offers several ways to pay your bill online. The available options are:
- Credit/Debit Card – Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover
- Electronic Funds Transfer – Directly from your bank account
- PayPal – Instant transfer from your PayPal balance or linked accounts
To pay by card, enter your card number, expiration date, and CVV code. For direct bank transfers, you’ll need your account number and routing number.
PayPal payments just require you to log into your PayPal account. No sensitive financial details are needed.
Once you’ve entered your preferred payment method, click Submit to finish paying your bill.
Getting a Payment Confirmation
Comcast will process your payment and show you a confirmation page after you send it. This will have details like:
- Payment amount
- Date paid

Be sure to print or screenshot this confirmation page for your records. You should also get a confirmation email after paying your bill online.
You can log back into your Comcast account at any time to view your payment history and confirm past payments. Just go to the “Billing & Payments” section.
Auto-Pay and Paperless Billing for Added Convenience
If you want to go beyond the standard pay online option, Comcast offers two services to make paying your bill even more convenient:
Auto-Pay lets you set up automatic monthly payments from your credit card or bank account. Every month, Comcast will take out the amount you owe automatically, so you never forget.
Paperless Billing – Go green by ditching the paper bill and getting billing statements online only. You’ll get an email each month to log in and view your bill.
Enrolling in Auto-Pay and Paperless Billing is easy to do through your Comcast account online or on the mobile app.
Paying Without Logging In
If you’ve misplaced your account number and can’t log in, you can still pay your Comcast bill online a couple different ways:
- Call 1-800-Comcast and make a payment over the phone
- Visit a payment center in person with your monthly bill
- Use the Xfinity mobile app to scan your bill and pay as a guest
These options do require having your physical bill, so be sure to hold onto it each month just in case.
Avoid Late Fees and Keep Your Service Uninterrupted
I can’t stress enough the importance of paying your Comcast bill on time every month. Like most providers, Comcast charges hefty late fees for overdue bills.
If your bill goes unpaid for an extended period, Comcast may suspend your services until payment is made. This could mean losing your TV, internet, phone, and home security if you rely on their services.
Paying online makes it easy to set payment reminders and keep your account in good standing. Log in regularly to check your balance and ensure payments go through on time.
In Summary
Paying online saves you time and gives you peace of mind knowing your payment was received. Be sure to enroll in Auto-Pay and Paperless Billing for maximum convenience. With a few clicks, you can knock your Comcast bill out each month and avoid any late fees or service interruptions.
