Congratulations! Having successfully made it through three stages of the job interview process you are now only two steps away from securing your position at Enterprise. The next stage is your Branch Visit. This is the time to experience what life at Enterprise Rent-A-Car is really like.
Having been with Enterprise for 18 months, it seems not so long ago that I was visiting a branch for the first time. Now, as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for the North West, I have some advice on how to make the most out of your experience.
Although I’ve no doubt you have done plenty of research on Enterprise in order to reach this stage of the interview process, there is no harm in going the extra mile to impress. Maybe give the branch or neighbouring branches a call to see if they have any hints or tips for you. Browse our Twitter and Facebook pages, as well as the rest of the website, and use them as a source of information on not just the company, but your potential fellow employees. Make sure you express your knowledge of what you discovered during the day and be open to learning a lot more too.
At Enterprise we always say the way to understand something is to experience it yourself. The Branch Visit is a fantastic way to really grasp what a functional day involves. You should expect to gain a thorough insight into our company. Although the application process may seem lengthy, we not only want to fully understand your values, ambitions, aspirations and experiences, we want you to know ours too!
You should receive a Branch Visit Checklist prior to your visit, which will help guide you on the day. You should expect to meet the rest of the team, see how we communicate with customers face to face and via telephone, observe the creation of a rental contract, and you may even get the opportunity to go out on one of our customer pick ups. Every day is different at Enterprise!
The Branch Manager’s main objective is to imagine you as one of Enterprise’s Management Trainees! They want to see you not just sitting in the corner observing, but talking to customers and employees, taking an active role and asking plenty of questions.
Candidates sometimes think asking questions is seen as having a lack of knowledge, but this is not the case! Communication is crucial at Enterprise and asking questions is all part of learning and development. Asking the right kind of questions to expand on your research shows a keen interest in the company. Have some questions prepared for during the day and the end of your interview. However, the easiest way to impress is to take an active role. Introduce yourself to the team and really get involved with the day. This is a great opportunity to show your skills if you sometimes struggle to portray them in a formal interview style. Talk to everyone you meet during the day, from customers to the Area Manager, and get stuck in!
The interview is your opportunity to sell yourself and your abilities. The main objective of the interviewer is to understand your experiences, skills and your career aspirations. The questions will be based around our core competencies: Customer Service, Sales and Leadership.
Have a structure to your answers – the STAR framework (Situation, Task, Action, Result) works great for this. Draw from a variety of examples, such as university, work experience and personal events, to enhance your answers. Speak clearly and confidently, and be proud of your achievements. Don’t let your lack of communication stop you from progressing. And if you need a few more tips on how to succeed at interviews don’t miss our essential guide on how to be great at interviews.
If you are reading this you have probably already applied for a graduate job or internship at Enterprise, but if not we have plenty of graduate opportunities available at over 450 offices and branches throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Interviews for Top Jobs at Enterprise Holdings
Management Trainee Interview
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Enterprise Holdings in May 2022
Interview
I got contacted by a recruiter, I had a quick 15 min chat during the first interview. However, I did not proceed with them because one of their first questions was, “Do you have any piercings or tattoos? Will you be willing to cover them while at work?”This might not be alarming for some people. But I believe that nowadays, an employer that requests this speaks poorly of their inclusivity efforts. I do not think that is the correct way if they are trying to reach younger employees, mainly because this is an entry-level position.
Management Trainee Interview
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Enterprise Holdings (Chico, CA)
Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward. Three separate interviews and the hiring managers were very respectful. The first interview was around 15 minutes and the second interview was at an Enterprise location.
- Do you love to win or hate to lose?
Management Trainee Interview
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Enterprise Holdings in Jul 2022
Interview
Terrible. I thought the questions were easy and I thought we were bonding well but then the manager told me that he felt like I didn’t belong there or want the job badly enough even though I did. The managers didn’t show up on time for my interview either. Don’t expect a lot, every round is the same questions and I don’t think they are even listening. Don’t waste your time.
- How would you describe a time that you had to make an upsell? Are you interviewing anywhere else? How would you describe leadership?

Record-keeping and compliance are also aided by using EMS. The risk of data loss or theft is reduced thanks to its integrated security system, and the files contained there are always accessible if you demand evidence of your company’s success for any federal authority.
Enterprise has long been regarded as one of the nation’s leading employers of university graduates. They hire about 8,000 entry-level employees and over 1,500 interns on an annual basis on average.
The Enterprise management trainee interview uses a mix of high-touch, in-person, including digital recruitment approaches when connecting with potential workers. Enterprise establishes personal connections as well as gives each candidate with an exceptional recruitment experience as a result of these efforts. Working with community organizations to acquire a new talent and promoting the acquisition of military veterans as well as conscripts in the United States are two examples. Additionally, Enterprise’s leading source of hires is its employee referral program, which compensates existing employees for bringing in successful new candidates.
For several years, Enterprise Holdings has received a Candidate Experience Award from Talent Board as a result of these efforts.
Enterprise also uses social media platforms such as Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, but rather Instagram to start engaging with future employees and illustrate the industry’s distinct corporate culture. The National Association of Colleges and Employers presented the Enterprise Holdings social recruiting team with a Technology Excellence Award in 2016. (NACE). Enterprise was named one of the Top 10 Best Contractors in Digital Talent Communication by Potential park in 2018.
Every year, millions of workers are encouraged or take on more responsibility in multiple roles across their global network as a result of the company’s advertising culture. As a result, newly hired management trainees have new opportunities, and there is a currently underway need to incorporate even more energized, university participants into top positions.
