I just wanted to show people how they can get the questions beforehand in HireVue. However, the questions are word scrambled in the JSON code.
I just did this today for my friend. Click on the provided link which looks something like this.
Accept cookies and press F12 for web dev tools. Ensure youre on the Network tab and search for practice as shown below.
Search for questions and you should find them. The kicker is now theyre scrambling the questions.
The first one is obvious, you can see it spells out Tell us about yourself?
This is not my interview, nor am I in the process. I just wanted to share this with everyone and help my friend and everyone out on this subreddit.
I dont have a method to descramble the questions, so if anyone does feel free to share! Happy unscrambling everyone.

I read in some posts of the past that the questions were visible in plaintext in browser web console but they have since patched it and are using some crappy encoding now to conceal the questions. Theyre still sent to your browser before the interview starts. Ive cracked their algorithm and made a script to decode and view all the interview questions easily. Ive written a simple guide in my repo to get the script working.

Click your interview link that was sent to you- This wont start the interview yet, we just need the landing page. Use inspect element/browser dev tools and go to the Network tab. You will see a response “?future-practice-questions&include=answers…”. Click this and copy/paste the text from the Preview tab into a JSON formatter (I dont think you dont technically need to, but it makes it more readable).

Ive received an invitation to do a HireVue interview with a defence contractor in the UK for a graduate position in materials science.
Ive read a few times on this subreddit that HireVue interviews arent the best and I just wanted to know if anybody has any experience with them or any tips/tricks to do well in them.
Seriously after the question gets asked you get 30 seconds before you have to answer… You also only get one attempt to answer the question. I kept stuttering and looking away from the camera. The pressure was too high. Most akward and worst interview ever. Why does HireVue even exist?
