Hi guys! I am a new grad nurse applying for a nurse residency in IR. I have an interview tomorrow and was seeking more info about the job to better prepare me before I get there. Ive researched as much as possible, but since I dont know any IR nurses I was hoping to get some better advice and info from some of you guys.

So, here you have to provide them the details about your education qualification, job experiences (if any), and your qualities to be a nurse.

Example: “I perform interventional radiology procedures every day at my current job. I enjoy working with patients who need these types of procedures because I find them challenging and interesting. In my previous role, I performed interventional radiology procedures once or twice per week. I am always looking for ways to improve my skills and learn new techniques.”
Example: “I always make sure to communicate clearly with my patients before and during procedures. I explain what they should expect from the procedure and answer any questions they may have. How important is a patient’s confidentiality to you?
It is very important how you answer this question because interviewers are testing to make sure that you have the prudence to keep a patient’s information safe.
Patient confidentiality is extremely important and anyone who doesn’t take that seriously will not be viewed as a good candidate for the position.
