This question can give the interviewer insight into how you interact with patients and help them feel supported. Your answer should include examples of how you helped a patient in the past, but it’s also important to show that you’re empathetic and compassionate when interacting with patients who are struggling with fertility issues.

Employers ask this question to learn more about your qualifications and how you can contribute to their team. Before your interview, make a list of all the skills and experiences that make you an ideal candidate for this role. Focus on highlighting your soft skills such as communication and teamwork abilities along with any certifications or education credentials.

If you are interested in becoming a fertility nurse, you will first need to obtain a nursing degree and become licensed as an RN. Once you have met these requirements, you can then begin to specialize in fertility nursing by completing a fertility nurse training program. After completing the program, you will be prepared to sit for the fertility nurse certification exam.

This question can help the interviewer determine your experience with fertility testing. If you have a lot of experience performing these tests, you may be more qualified for this position than someone who has less experience. When answering this question, try to describe how often you perform these tests and what kind of results you get from them.

Example: “I would first try to clarify what they misunderstood by asking them questions about the information they received. If I still didn’t understand, I’d ask for clarification from my supervisor or another nurse who may have more experience working with this patient. I want to ensure that all of our patients are receiving accurate information so they can make informed decisions about their care.”
