Handling medical bills can be a confusing stressful process. It’s easy to lose track of how much you owe for medical care when bills, insurance claims, and statements come from many places. KnowYourRisk wants to make billing easier for patients by giving them a safe online payment portal where they can see all of their medical bills and pay them all at once.
Consolidating Bills in One Convenient Location
With the KnowYourRisk payment portal, you can see bills from many doctors, labs, hospitals, and other service providers on a single website. You can log in online and handle everything from one dashboard instead of looking for contact information and mailing checks to different places.
This consolidated view makes it easy to stay on top of healthcare expenses. You can view pending charges, insurance coverage details, payment due dates, and balance summaries across all your providers in one spot. No more sorting through a pile of paperwork or tracking down bills that went to the wrong address. The transparency and organization helps avoid late fees and confusion.
Simple Payment Processing with Flexible Options
KnowYourRisk processes payments directly through their secure portal, so you don’t have to mail checks or call various billing offices. The platform offers several payment methods, including credit card, debit card, HSA, and FSA.
You can opt to pay the full balance due or set up installment plans that automatically charge your card each month. For expensive medical procedures, this spreading payments over time can help manage cash flow. KnowYourRisk also allows you to designate other authorized payers, like family members, to login and pay bills on your behalf.
User-Friendly Design and 24/7 Accessibility
The payment interface for KnowYourRisk is easy to use and follows best practices for modern web design. It’s easy to find information and pay for things because the pages are clean and the navigation is clear.
The responsive layout works seamlessly on desktop, tablets, and mobile devices. You can manage healthcare bills on-the-go with the convenience of 24/7 access. KnowYourRisk also offers a bilingual site experience in both English and Spanish language options.
Improved Communication and Support Resources
Along with the payment portal, KnowYourRisk also makes it easier for providers and patients to talk to each other. If you have any questions about charges or your insurance, you can send a message to the billing staff through the site. This stops people from calling and emailing back and forth to get answers.
For common billing issues, KnowYourRisk provides numerous self-help resources right on their website. You can browse FAQs, watch tutorial videos, download billing guides, and more. If you need further assistance, you can easily contact a patient advocate for personalized support.

ARE YOU AT RISK?
Ultrasound and imaging tests help doctors identify patients at risk for a heart attack but they cannot be done everywhere and are too expensive to be done on everyone. Fortunately there are new blood and urine tests that are easy to do in your doctor’s office. These simple tests can help you and your doctor know your risk for a heart attack or stroke. A heart attack or stroke risk score tells you how likely you are to have one. You can then work with your doctor to lower that risk.
Age – Your risk increases as you get older. Men over 45 years old are more likely to get it, while women over 55 years old are more likely to get it. Family History – Your risk is higher if members of your family have had cardiovascular disease (heart attack, bypass surgery, a stent, or stroke) at a young age; before age 55 years for men or before age 65 years for women. High Blood Pressure – Know your blood pressure. Ideally it should be less than 120/80 mm Hg when you are at rest, although somewhat higher levels are often OK with your doctor when you’re older. High Cholesterol: If your LDL-cholesterol is less than 100 mg/dL and your non-HDL-cholesterol is less than 130 mg/dL, you are less likely to have a heart attack. Physical Inactivity – Sitting for long periods of time increases your risk. Even moving around for 5-10 minute periods throughout the day can lower heart attack risk. Obesity and Overweight – Risk for disease is related to those extra pounds around your waist line. Losing 5-10% of your body weight reduces health risk. Smoking – Research has shown that every 5 cigarettes a day smoked increases heart attack risk. Quitting smoking reduces heart attack risk immediately. Diabetes – It is very important to KNOW your blood sugar level. Normal blood sugar levels are under 100 mg/dL. ].
