Pay Automatically

For ultimate bill paying convenience, sign up for automatic monthly bank draft. Mid Carolina will automatically withdraw the amount due each month from your checking or savings account. You’ll still get a statement showing your usage, but don’t have to take any action to pay since it’s handled for you.

To get started, fill out the bank draft authorization form on the Mid Carolina website or contact Member Services at (803) 749-6400. Set it and forget it! Auto-draft helps ensure your payment won’t ever be late due to a busy schedule or forgetfulness.

Pay in Person

It’s nice to pay your bill in person sometimes. Mid Carolina has two drive-thru offices where you can pay in person:

  • 254 Longs Pond Road in Lexington
  • 7524 Broad River Road in Irmo

The drive-thrus are open Monday through Thursday 7:30am to 5:30pm and Fridays 7:30am to 11:30am. You can also pay in person at one of Mid Carolina’s participating retail partners. Take your bill with you and pay at the cash register just like any other purchase. A convenience fee of $1.50 applies when paying through a retail partner.

Budget Billing

If remembering to pay your bill every month seems difficult, check out Mid Carolina’s Budget Billing plan. This program averages your electricity use over the past year to calculate a set monthly payment amount. Your payment stays the same each month, so you can better plan for this regular expense. Mid Carolina then “trues up” your account periodically and makes adjustments if you use more or less electricity than expected.
