I had an initial phone screen and then an on demand video interview on the Modern Hire platform. I had trouble accessing the camera on this platform, even though I had the correct recommended browser and just had a Zoom video interview earlier that day, and had to call tech support. The on demand interview had about 5 questions and for most of them, my responses were cut off even though I didn’t stop recording yet. This process took me about 2 hours because of the technical difficulties and having to rerecord again and again. I didn’t receive any follow up after the interview which was very unprofessional. I was not happy at all with this experience and the red flags were in the solution that I would have been selling. If I was having such a difficult time it would have been hard to stand behind this solution to sell.
