Adding or Updating Payment Methods
To pay your Google Fi bill, you need to have a valid credit or debit card on your account. Here’s how to add or update your payment method:
- In the Fi app or website billing section, select “Payment methods”
- Choose “Add payment method” to add a new card.
- To update an existing card, select “Edit” and make the changes.
- Enter your full card details and select “Save” or “Update” to finish.
You can have multiple cards on your Google Fi account and set one as the primary method. If the primary card fails for any reason, your backup card will be charged automatically.
Setting Up Autopay
The easiest way to ensure you never miss a Google Fi payment is to enable autopay. With autopay on, your monthly bill is paid automatically on the due date using your primary payment method.
To set up Fi autopay:
- Go to the Payments section in the Fi app or website billing.
- Toggle “Autopay” on.
- Confirm the primary card you want to use.
That’s it! Google Fi will now charge your card automatically each month. You’ll still receive a bill for your records.
Paying Your Bill Manually
If you prefer to pay your Google Fi bill manually, it only takes a minute:
- In the app or website billing, select “Pay now”
- Choose your payment amount – either the full balance or a custom amount.
- Select your payment method.
- Confirm and submit the payment.
Your bill must be paid by the due date to avoid any late fees or service interruption. The Google Fi app sends payment reminders as your due date approaches.
