To set up online access:
- Go to synchrony.com and click on the “Sign In” button.
- If you don’t already have an account, click on “Register your account.”
- Provide your name, contact info, and last 4 digits of your Social Security number.
- Create a username and password.
- Agree to the terms and conditions.
Once your online account is set up, you can start making payments!
Pay Your Bill Online
Paying online is fast and easy. Just log into your Synchrony account and follow these steps:
- Go to the “Payments” section.
- Select whether you want to pay the minimum amount, statement balance, or another amount.
- Choose the payment date. Payments before 4 PM ET are credited the same day.
- Select the payment method. You can pay directly from a bank account or with a debit or credit card.
- Review payment details and submit.
Your payment will be processed right away and you’ll get a confirmation email. Easy!

If you prefer paying over the phone, that’s easy too. Just call Synchrony’s automated payment system anytime at 1-866-396-8254. You will need to give your debit or credit card number and information about your account.

- Select “Make a Payment” from menu options.
- Enter your Sleepy’s credit card number.
- Choose whether to pay minimum, statement balance, or other amount.
- Provide debit/credit card details for payment.

Payments by phone are fast and secure. So you can pay your bill whenever you want, the automated system is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Confirm Payment and Track Status
After paying online or by phone, I recommend logging into your Synchrony account to confirm the payment went through. You can see payment history and check the status.

Set Up Autopay for Automatic Payments
Tired of remembering to pay your bill manually each month? Set up autopay instead!
With autopay, your payment is automatically deducted from your bank account on the due date. To set it up:
- Log into your Synchrony account.
- Go to “Account Services” then “Autopay.”
- Choose your payment amount and funding account.
- Review terms and enable autopay.
Autopay saves time and gives me one less bill to worry about. My Sleepy’s payment is always made on time automatically.
Just remember to fund your bank account so there’s enough for the autopay. Synchrony charges a fee if there are insufficient funds.
Avoid Late Fees and Keep Account in Good Standing
I always try to pay my Sleepy’s bill early to avoid late fees. A late payment can be reported to credit bureaus and hurt your credit.
Synchrony charges up to a $29 late fee if you don’t pay the minimum by the due date. Repeated late payments may increase your APR too.
