Polk County Utilities provides water and sewer service to residents of unincorporated areas of Polk County, Florida. They serve over 95,000 water customers and over 75,000 wastewater customers across a large service area.

Polk County Utilities sends out monthly bills for water and sewer service. As a customer, you are responsible for paying your bill by the due date to avoid late fees or service interruptions. The utility offers multiple ways to pay, including online payment options I’ll outline below.

Online Account Access

Setting up an account on Polk County Utilities’ website is the first thing you need to do to pay your bill online. Here’s how:

1. Go to Polk-County.Net and click on “Pay Water Bill” at the top.

2. On the Ways to Pay page, click on “Access Customer Portal”. This takes you to the log in screen at billpay.polkutilities.net.

3. As a first time user, click “New User” to set up your account access.

4. Enter your Polk County Utilities account number and an email address.

5. Create a username and password

6. Accept the terms and conditions and click “Submit”.

Once you’ve set up your account, you can log in at any time to see your account information and make online payments. To make sure you don’t miss any payments, I suggest setting up automatic payments (more on that below).

Automatic Bank Draft

A direct bank draft is the easiest way to pay your Polk County Utilities bill online. This takes money out of your bank account every month and pays your bill.
