Wondering how to pay your premium bill? Making a payment is easy. Pick your plan to see specific instructions.

Paying your health insurance premiums should be simple and straightforward That’s why Priority Health offers an easy-to-use online bill pay system for its members As a Priority Health member myself, I’ve been using their online bill pay for years and find it to be a quick and convenient way to keep up with my monthly premium payments. In this article, I’ll walk you through everything you need to know about using Priority Health’s online bill pay system.

Getting Started with Online Bill Pay

To get started with Priority Health’s online bill pay system, you first need to log into your online member account. You can do this by going to priorityhealthcom and clicking on “Log In” at the top right corner of the webpage. From there, enter your username and password to access your member account.

Once you’re logged in, you’ll see a tab for “Pay My Premium” on your account homepage. Click this tab to be taken to the online bill pay section. The first time you use online bill pay, you’ll need to set up your payment method by choosing either a credit/debit card or bank account.

Priority Health accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit and debit cards. You can also pay directly from a checking or savings account by entering your routing and account numbers.

Whichever method you choose, rest assured that Priority Health uses advanced encryption technology to keep your payment information safe and secure.

Making One-Time Payments

If you just need to make a single, one-time premium payment, it’s quick and easy to do through the online bill pay system. Under the “Make a One-Time Payment” section, simply enter your contract number and the payment amount.

Don’t worry about including the suffix on your contract number, just enter the main numerical contract number. Then double check that the amount matches what you owe for that month’s premium. Once the payment info is entered correctly, click Submit to process the payment instantly.

One-time payments through Priority Health’s online bill pay system can be made using either a credit/debit card or bank account. The funds will be immediately withdrawn from the payment method you entered. And just like that, your one-time premium payment is complete!

Setting Up Recurring Payments

While one-time payments are convenient, setting up recurring payments through Priority Health’s online bill pay system can make life even easier. With recurring payments, your premium is automatically deducted from your card or bank account each month.

To set up recurring payments, select the “Electronic Funds Transfer” option under “Make a One-Time Payment”. This will open up the recurring payment fields. Here you can select the frequency for your automatic payments – whether monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.

Just remember that recurring EFT payments are always deducted on the 1st business day of the applicable period. So a monthly recurring payment would be deducted on the 1st of each month, a quarterly payment on the 1st business day of each new quarter, etc.

It’s important to ensure sufficient funds are in your account to cover each recurring payment. If the EFT ever fails due to insufficient funds, you may incur a $25 NSF (non-sufficient funds) fee.

Individual members enrolled through the Marketplace who receive Advanced Premium Tax Credits can only set up recurring payments on a monthly basis. All other members can select whichever recurring frequency works best based on their Premium invoice schedule.

Payment Receipts and Account Management

Whenever you make a payment through Priority Health’s online bill pay system, you’ll receive an emailed receipt confirming the payment details. You can also view payment history and generate receipts anytime by logging into your online member account.

Within your account, you can update your payment method, change your recurring payment frequency, and manage other account settings related to online bill pay. Priority Health’s customer service team is also available to help with any questions about managing your online payments.
