Paying Your RCN Bill Online
Going to the MyRCN customer portal is the easiest and fastest way to pay your RCN bill. To get started, simply visit my. rcn. Click on com/login to either sign in to your existing account or create a new one.
On the MyRCN dashboard, you will see an option to “Pay Bill”. Click this to view your current account balance and make a one-time bill payment. You can use a credit card, debit card or checking account to make your online payment.
One of the best features of paying online is that you can also set up recurring autopay directly from your checking account. This ensures your bill gets paid on time each month automatically without any hassle.
Paying online is secure, fast and gives you 24/7 access to view your account details and payment history. Just be aware that a convenience fee applies to one-time credit/debit card payments.
Paying via the RCN Mobile App
On top of the MyRCN website, you can also pay your bill through the RCN mobile app. The RCN app, which works on both iPhone and Android phones, lets you manage payments, see statements, and keep an eye on your account from anywhere.
To get started, download the RCN app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once installed, log into the app using your MyRCN username and password.
Just like on the website, you will see a “Pay Bill” option that allows you to pay your bill with a few taps. You can securely save your payment information to the app for convenience.
The mobile app also lets you view past statements, see payment history, update account details and handle other billing needs on the go. Paying through the app is quick, easy and free!
Paying Your RCN Bill by Phone
If you prefer to handle billing over the phone, RCN’s automated phone payment system makes it simple to pay your bill with just a call.
To make a one-time RCN bill payment by phone, just dial 877-726-2455 and select the option for making a payment. The automated system will guide you through the process step-by-step.
You will need to have your RCN account number and a valid credit or debit card ready. The system accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards.
One advantage of paying by phone is that you can wait until your due date and make a payment even if you don’t have online access. The automated phone payment option is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
However, keep in mind that a convenience fee does apply to any one-time phone payments. But it’s a fast, easy way to pay your bill if you are in a time crunch before the due date.
Paying Your RCN Bill by Mail
Paying by mail is one of the more traditional methods RCN offers its customers. Each month, RCN will mail you a paper statement detailing your current charges, payments and account balance.
Your paper bill will include a payment stub that you can detach and return along with a check or money order. Be sure to allow 3-5 business days for your mailed payment to reach RCN and be applied to your account.
It’s important to mail your payments to the correct RCN payment processing center based on your service region:
-
DC Metro, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania:
RCN
PO Box 830714
Philadelphia, PA 19182-0714 -

Dallas, TX 75267-9367 -
California, Oregon, Washington:

The amount of your first Astound bill depends on many things, including the services you’ve bought and how many of them you’ve had. Here are several factors to keep in mind when reviewing your first Astound statement.
- The amount of your monthly service charges that Astound will bill you for this month will depend on what day of the month you signed up. This applies to Cable TV, Internet and Phone services.
- For the current month, all taxes and fees that are normal for your state and area will be included.
- As usual in the business world, Astound sends bills one month ahead of time that include estimated Internet service taxes and fees. You will be charged the full amount of the next month’s regular monthly service charges, taxes, and fees, plus a portion of the first month’s service changes that are spread out over the month. This is usually why your first statement will be longer than the ones that follow, at least when it comes to Internet and cable TV services.
- Because phone services are partly based on how much you use them, you are not billed a month in advance. However, you will not be charged in advance for the following month’s service like you do with Cable TV and Internet. Instead, you will be charged a prorated amount for the first month’s service. This, along with the fact that you only pay for the first month of service, makes it look like your phone bills are lower than they really are.
- If there are any installation fees, they are usually added to your first bill after the technician comes to do the work.
- When you switch to a different service bundle, you may see either prorated or advance service charges for the new services on your bill. You can also expect your next bill to show prorated service changes based on the date you stopped the service if you are downgrading.
Below please find a summary of the various taxes, surcharges, and fees. Unless stated otherwise, the taxes, surcharges, and/or fees on this page are not government-mandated and are not fees, taxes, or surcharges that the government charges you. They are either a surcharge and/or fee Astound assesses and retains.
- There is a Broadcast TV Surcharge that is added to all digital TV packages to help cover the costs of providing our customers with local and regional broadcast TV signals and programming.
- Customers who have the Standard package or higher are charged a sports surcharge to help cover the cost of delivering and programming professional, college, and amateur games and other sports content.
- The Network Access and Maintenance Fee helps cover the costs of building and maintaining Astound’s fiber-rich broadband network. It also covers the costs of adding more capacity to the network to keep up with customers’ rising average broadband usage.
- The Municipal Construction Surcharge helps Astound get some of the money it lost when the government told it to move its facilities out of the way of street repairs, public construction projects, and other activities that were needed for the public’s health, safety, or convenience.
- Franchise, utility, PEG, and other government-mandated fees and taxes are also changed on a regular basis to meet regulatory needs. These taxes and fees are required by the government, and we have to pay them.
- Please look at the tax definitions or your monthly bill for a full list of all the taxes, surcharges, and fees that apply to you.
To avoid the possibility of incurring late fees, Astound recommends paying your bill immediately upon receiving your monthly statement. Your due date is listed on your monthly statement, on each page in the upper right hand corner.
Astound encourages customers to make timely payments to avoid late fees and possible service interruption. Astound reserves the right to charge late fees when payments are not made on time. If you are charged a late fee, you will be notified through a printed message on your bill.
