Surprise Valley Electric recently introduced a new online bill payment system that makes paying your bill easier than ever
To make quick, one-time payments online you can use the Pay Now link on their website. This allows you to securely pay your bill without logging in.
For added functionality, Surprise Valley Electric offers SmartHub, a full-featured online account management portal. With SmartHub you can:
- View and pay bills online
- Set up automatic payments
- Monitor your electricity usage
- Manage account information
- Receive important notices
You’ll first need to register for SmartHub access. Then you can handle all aspects of your Surprise Valley Electric account online or through the SmartHub mobile app.
Update Automatic Bank Payments
If you previously set up automatic bill pay through your bank with Surprise Valley Electric, you may need to update your account details to ensure uninterrupted service.
With the new billing system, account numbers have been updated. For example, if your old account number was 12345-1, the new number would be 12345001. Be sure to log into your bank’s bill pay system to update your account number.
Trying to pay multiple Surprise Valley Electric accounts in one payment? You’ll now need to enter each account number individually rather than combining them. So instead of entering 12345123 for three accounts, you’ll enter 12345001, 12345002, and 12345003 separately.
