A Guide to Paying Your Swedish Medical Group Bill Online

You may receive multiple bills for a single office visit. Some charges originate from your Endeavor Health Medical Group doctor and others from Swedish Hospital. In cases in which you receive more than one bill, the doctor and hospital both submit both bills to your insurance company. You may receive additional bills from independent physicians, radiologists, pathologists and other specialists. Please contact these physicians directly if you have questions concerning your bill.

As a patient of Swedish Medical Group, you likely receive medical bills that need to be paid promptly each month. Swedish offers several convenient online payment options to choose from. In this comprehensive guide, I’ll outline the various methods for paying Swedish Medical Group bills digitally so you can select the one that best matches your needs and preferences.

As someone who has received care from Swedish providers for many years I’ve tried every online bill payment method they offer. Below I’ll share the pros and cons of each based on my personal experience as a Swedish Medical Group patient.

Pay Online through MyChart

The easiest way to pay your Swedish Medical Group bill is through their MyChart online patient portal and mobile app. MyChart provides you secure 24/7 access to your Swedish accounts

To use MyChart bill pay, you first need to sign up for a free account at MyChart.Swedish.org. You’ll provide basic personal and insurance details during registration.

Once your MyChart account is created, you can:

  • View current account balances
  • Check payment history
  • Make one-time payments
  • Set up recurring payments
  • Pay multiple bills at once

Swedish MyChart accepts online payments from debit/credit cards and checking/savings accounts. Payments from bank accounts have no fees, while card payments incur a small convenience fee.

I like the option to setup auto-pay directly from my checking account so payments are made automatically each month. Overall, MyChart provides a fast, simple bill payment experience.

Pay on the Swedish Website

You can also pay your Swedish Medical Group bills through the account login on their main website. Go to Pay.Swedish.org and enter your 12-digit bill ID found on statements.

On the website you can:

  • View current statements
  • Check account balance
  • Make one-time payments
  • Pay multiple bills at once

The same payment methods are accepted on the website as on MyChart – debit/credit cards and bank accounts. There are no fees for bank account payments.

The website is best for making one-time payments when you don’t need all the additional account management features offered through MyChart. But I prefer to use MyChart to pay bills since it stores payment details and history.

Pay by Phone

You also have the option to pay your Swedish Medical Group bills over the phone using their automated system. To pay by phone, call 888-294-9333.

The automated system will prompt you to enter your bill ID number and payment amount. You can then input your card or bank details to submit the payment.

There are no fees for bank account payments over the phone. But debit/credit card payments will incur a small convenience fee.

The main limitation with phone payments is that the line is only available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. So you can’t make after hours payments. But overall it provides a simple way to pay when you can’t access the online options.

Enroll in Auto Pay

To simplify Swedish Medical Group bill payments, I recommend setting up automatic recurring payments through MyChart. This securely stores your payment information to make monthly automated payments.

Auto pay deducts the total monthly balance from your chosen bank account or card on the bill due date each month. You don’t have to manually go online or call in a payment.

Auto pay can be canceled or changed anytime through your MyChart account. I’ve used it for years to keep my medical bills paid on schedule without hassle.

Avoid Late Payment Fees

It’s important to pay your Swedish Medical Group bills by the due date to avoid late fees or interest charges. Bills not paid within 30 days of the due date incur a late fee of $25.

Accounts over 60 days past due may be sent to an outside collection agency. Timely payment through auto pay or the online and phone options helps avoid unnecessary late fees and other issues.
