I once decided to dismantle the groups that I had formed and taught the students all at once. After a month, I realized that most of them had not made progress and were worsening. I realized that I had failed and went back to the grouping method of learning. I learned that effective teaching requires group work, and I haven’t looked back ever since.
1. Why do you want to be a reading interventionist?
When an interviewer asks you this question, they may want to know about your values and motivations as an educator. Every reading interventionist may have a different answer, so its alright to make your response personal and use anecdotes. Describe your passion for reading and teaching by talking about what inspired you to pursue the role.

I prefer direct intervention in the classroom and dealing with each student personally. I wouldn’t want to stay out of touch with my students and my purpose of being here. I will also instruct the teachers and other assistants to do a proper intervention in the classes to help the learners.
