To all the current and former residents out there, looking back on your interviews or showcases, are there any questions you wish you would have asked to get to know your program better? I am only on my third rotation (first in the hospital) and want to gain a better understanding of what I want in a residency program but I am not sure what I am looking due to limited experience. Any insight is appreciated. TIA
4 Key Tips for Pharmacy Residency Interviews 2021
I have a very long list of potential interview questions that I’m reviewing in preparation for interviews, some easy and others are rather challenging. I’m curious to know (RPDs and preceptors) what are the questions that seem to commonly trip people up (preferably during PGY-2 interviews, as that’s my current position, but this could be helpful to all!)
Since so many have asked, here is a link to a question set I’ve found. You can also find some really great resources with a simple google search.
Edit: Or residents/candidates, if you got any questions during interviews that really tripped you up, let us know!
I’ve gotten a couple of situational questions that required a lot more careful thinking. Just wondering what others are being asked!
