JEA does not charge a fee for online payments from a bank account. However, there is a third-party processing fee for debit and credit card payments.
Pay by Phone
You can also pay your JEA bill over the phone using the automated pay-by-phone system. Call JEA at (904) 665-6000 and select the “Pay by Phone” option. You will need to enter your 10-digit JEA account number and the amount you want to pay. The system accepts payments from debit cards, credit cards or an electronic check.
As with online payments, there is no fee for electronic checks. Debit and credit cards are subject to a third-party processing fee. The phone payment system is available 24/7 for your convenience.

Pay in Person
JEA offers many authorized walk-in payment locations throughout Jacksonville where you can pay your bill in person with cash, check, money order or debit/credit card. Payment kiosks are available 24/7 at some locations. Look for the JEA signage to ensure the location is authorized.

If You Do Not Have a jea.com Account
JEA Guest Pay is the perfect solution for customers who wish to pay online but do not have a jea.com account, or for someone who wishes to make a payment on behalf of a customer. Use your bank account or debit/credit card to pay any account by simply entering a JEA account number.
Guest Pay is only available for customers with an active JEA account paying for utility services. Deposits to start service may not be paid through this option. A valid JEA account number is required.
KUBRA Boost™ – The “Boost” feature allows biller customers to request payment assistance from friends and family members. Customers can share a system-generated link with friends and family so they can make partial bill payments for any amount on their behalf or pay the entire amount. This link conveniently takes them directly to the KUBRA EZ-PAY® account, where they can make payments. The “Boost” feature also allows roommates to share bill payments easily.
If you’d like to make a payment on behalf of one of our customers with your bank account or debit/credit card, please provide the account holder’s last name, service address, and the amount you would like to pay below.
Call (904) 665-6000 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to pay your bill with a bank account, credit or debit card using our automated system. Payments will post to your account immediately.

Pay your bill on time, every time with AutoPay. JEA automatically withdraws your balance due from your bank account on your due date.
To enroll in AutoPay, your account must not have an outstanding balance or be in a payment extension plan. AutoPay will begin on your next billing cycle after you sign up, so please pay any account balance currently due by its due date.
When we prepare your bill, your account balance will reflect payment has been made, although it will not withdraw from your bank account until your due date.
