Implementation Manager Interview
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AMN Healthcare (Ozark, MO) in Sep 2022
Interview
3 phone calls total. I could tell after my 2nd interview this company would be a good fit for me. It was the best interview experience I have had. I typically get nervous and feel intimidated in interviews, but this was a different (but better) experience for me.
- Why do you think you are a good fit for this position at this company?
Healthcare Recruiter Interview
I applied online. I interviewed at AMN Healthcare (Tampa, FL) in Aug 2022
Interview
Phone Interview w/TAS on Thursday. Interview with Director the following week, 2nd Interview with Supervisor 3 days later then the following week I received an Offer. It was pretty easy for me because I am very good at selling myself but they made it better because they were all so kind, so it took the pressure off.
- Asked about yourself and qualifications.

It was an amazing candidate experience! The recruiter did a very good job articulating the position and expectations. I was well informed and prepared. The overall process was very thorough and prepared me to make a decision.
- Tell me of a time when you supported a difficult customer.
I got an email to do an AMN digital interview for an assignment I applied for. Any idea what to expect or what kind of questions they may ask? It seems like it’s recorded questions and you have two minutes to answer. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this, so I can be prepared. Thanks!
An interviewer may ask this question to assess your customer service skills. They want to know how you would react in a challenging situation and if you have the ability to diffuse it. In your answer, try to show that you can remain calm under pressure and use your communication skills to resolve the issue.
Example: “I’ve worked as an RN at a local hospital for five years now. I started out working in the emergency room but eventually moved into my current role where I work with patients who are experiencing mental health issues. This has given me valuable insight into how important it is to provide compassionate care to all types of patients.”
Example: “I see myself working at AMN Healthcare in five years. I’m so grateful that I was able to find such an amazing company. I love my job here, and I feel like we’re growing together as a team. In five years, I hope to have earned my RN certification and become a nurse manager.”
Example: “In my previous role, I placed a nurse who was looking for a new hospital setting. She had excellent credentials but didn’t have much experience in her specialty. When interviewing with hospitals, it’s important that candidates are able to provide specific details about their qualifications and experiences. In this case, I explained that she would be a great addition to their team if they were willing to train her in her specialty.”
Example: “The nursing process is a systematic approach to patient care that involves assessment, diagnosis and treatment. I find that using the nursing process allows me to better understand my patients’ needs and provides me with an organized way of performing my job duties. In my previous role as a nurse, I used the nursing process to assess my patients’ conditions, diagnose their ailments and develop treatment plans.”
