- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What can you tell me about our organization?
- How did you hear about this job?
- Why are you interested in this position?
- Why are you leaving your previous position?
- How long do you plan to stay with your next employer?
Provide several reasons including skills, experience and interest. If you can show how youve been successful in a similar career field or job position that will go along way to helping the interviewer believe youll also be successful at this new job.
Here being specific is probably not the best approach. You may consider responding, “I hope a very long time.” Or “As long as were both happy with my performance.”
Be prepared for this question. If you have to sit and think about it its going to appear as if youre not sure or that youve never identified your own value in the work place – not good. You dont have to have a complex response. Keep it simple and honest. For example, several possibilities could be Leadership, Problem solving ability, Initiative, Energy, Work ethic, Innovative, etc., etc.
This question is designed to find out if you get along well on team, with other and whether or not youll be a fit with the interviewers organization. Its a trap. Think real hard but fail to come up anything that irritated you about your co-workers. A short positive response is best.
This is one of the most common questions you will be asked. Give an answer relevant to the skills and qualities relevant to the position you are applying to. The interviewer is trying to find if your strengths match the job. For example, if you are applying for a job At CSI where accuracy is an important issue, one of your strengths could be that you have an eye for detail. It may useful to find different words to describe similar attributes and qualities in order to avoid repetition.
By maintaining proper routine every day. Putting my strongest points with my weakness. High priority always comes first At CSI.
While discussing this, be sure to stress specific examples of what you bring to the company. Good qualities include resolve to fulfill job responsibilities, optimism, and a desire to be as efficient as possible while at work.
Before you answer, consider how you best contribute to a team: ☛ Do you get along easily with people? ☛ Are you an effective collaborator? ☛ Can you communicate with people from various backgrounds and with different personalities? ☛ Can you motivate people? ☛ Do you know how to push back tactfully? ☛ Can you mediate conflicts? ☛ Can you deal with difficult personalities?
Try to avoid specific classifications, whatever it may be. Organizations usually prefer managers who can adapt their skills to different situations.
For this question, the interviewer wants to know what you do in a situation that doesnt have a clear answer. This will help the interviewer know how you respond to unforeseen challenges.
Everyone has failed, so dont play dumb or claim youve never messed up At CSI. Think of a time when a work-related situation didnt turn out quite as you had hoped. An interviewer is interested in seeing how you took responsibility for your failure, what you learned from it, and how you would prevent similar failures from happening again.
Here are two great sample answers that might help get you started: ☛ I am an extremely organized person, so I tend to be able to get my work done at work. However, if the need arose I would not be against taking work home. I try not to make it a habit, since I do value my free time. I do realize though that the work we do is important, and sometimes you have to do what needs to be done. ☛ I do not shy away from taking work home with me. I know that meeting deadlines and doing outstanding work sometimes means taking a bit of it home. I do not have a problem doing that when the need arises. ☛ Make sure to give an honest answer. Lying about taking work home may turn out badly for you if it is required and you do not do it.
Again be honest. The interviewer will be able to sense very quickly if youre be disingenuous. Your answer should be base on your person reasons, career aspirations as well as research youve performed on the company. The most important thing you should do is make sure to relate your answer to your long-term career goals.
This question can be tricky because you need to show your worth At CSI without sounding cocky or arrogant. Research the business ahead of time and become familiar with its mission and values. Take the time to figure out how your personal qualities fit the needs of the business and use that fit to provide your answer.
Try to include improvement activities that relate to the job At CSI. A wide variety of activities can be mentioned as positive self-improvement. Have some good ones handy to mention.
The employer would want to know that not only you can do the job but you can make the difference and bring significant contribution – Simple as that. No doubt that this is your time to perform and present yourself – You have to introduce/sell yourself to the interviewer. Prepare your answer based on your qualification, professional experience and what youve already achieved in your previous jobs. This is your time to express why you think that your professional abilities fit into the job and its requirements. Top 10 employment experience youd want to review: ☛ Companies you worked for with dates ☛ The positions youve held ☛ Key projects and responsibilities ☛ Achievements ☛ Coursework & continues education ☛ Expertise ☛ Tools you used (software, hardware) ☛ Knowledge of languages ☛ Engagement with customers and key industry leaders ☛ Team work you were involved (and your contribution)
Be sure to discuss a very specific example. Tell the interviewer what methods you used to solve the problem without focusing on the details of the problem.
If you were unemployed for a period of time, be direct and to the point about what youve been up to (and hopefully, thats a litany of impressive volunteer and other mind-enriching activities, like blogging or taking classes). Then, steer the conversation toward how you will do the job and contribute to the organization: “I decided to take a break at the time, but today Im ready to contribute to this organization in the following ways.”
I would explain and show to him or her best way possible and if they have a better way then I will encourage him or her to let me know then we can see if it works or not At CSI.
Conflict resolution, problem solving, communication and coping under pressure are transferable skills desired by many employers At CSI. Answering this question right can help you demonstrate all of these traits. ☛ Use real-life examples from your previous roles that you are comfortable explaining ☛ Choose an example that demonstrates the role you played in resolving the situation clearly ☛ Remain professional at all times – you need to demonstrate that you can keep a cool head and know how to communicate with people
A dreaded question for many! When answering this question never give a negative answer. “I did not get on with my manager” or “The management did not run the business well” will show you in a negative light and reduce your chance of a job offer. Answer the question positively, emphasizing that you have been looking for a career progression. Start by telling the interviewer what you gained from your last job At CSI
Although it may be phrased a little differently, the gist of this question is clear: Do you like being around people? If you dont, being a medical assistant isnt a good fit for you. After all, youll be working directly with patients throughout the day. It helps a lot if you sincerely like interacting with them. While answering this question, make sure to mention that you like helping people too. This will drive home the point that you are a talented medical assistant and would be a valuable part of the team At CSI.
This is a classic brainteaser, which was reportedly first asked by a Microsoft interviewer. Heres how to “”solve”” this brainteaser (remember to speak and reason out loud while solving this brainteaser): Why are manhole covers round? Could there be a structural reason? Why arent manhole covers square? It would make it harder to fit with a cover. Youd have to rotate it exactly the right way. The pipes below are also round, so fitting them might be easier, as might be making them. So many manhole covers are round because they dont need to be rotated. There are no corners to deal with. Also, a round manhole cover wont fall into a hole because it was rotated the wrong way, so its safer. Looking at this, it seems corners are a problem. You cant cut yourself on a round manhole cover. And because its round, it can be more easily transported. One person can roll it.
The #1 rule of answering this question is doing your research on what you should be paid by using site like Global Guideline. Youll likely come up with a range, and we recommend stating the highest number in that range that applies, based on your experience, education, and skills. Then, make sure the hiring manager knows that youre flexible. Youre communicating that you know your skills are valuable, but that you want the job and are willing to negotiate.
Seemingly random personality-test type questions like these come up in interviews generally because hiring managers want to see how you can think on your feet. Theres no wrong answer here, but youll immediately gain bonus points if your answer helps you share your strengths or personality or connect with the hiring manager. Pro tip: Come up with a stalling tactic to buy yourself some thinking time, such as saying, “Now, that is a great question. I think I would have to say… ”
Just do not say that you imagine to only walk and watch what people do. Rather try to show them your attention to details and proactive attitude to job. Mention that you would try to observe the problems, weaknesses as well as opportunities to improve the results and take measures according to it.
I used to lock heads with a fellows. We disagreed over a lot of things – from the care of civilians to who got what shifts to how to speak with a victims family. Our personalities just didnt mesh. After three months of arguing, I pulled her aside and asked her to lunch. At lunch, we talked about our differences and why we werent getting along. It turns out, it was all about communication. We communicated differently and once we knew that, we began to work well together. I really believe that talking a problem through with someone can help solve any issue.
In asking this interview question, your interviewer wants to get a sense of how you will respond to conflict. Anyone can seem nice and pleasant in a job interview, but what will happen if youre hired?. Again, youll want to use the S-T-A-R method, being sure to focus on how you handled the situation professionally and productively, and ideally closing with a happy ending, like how you came to a resolution or compromise.
There is usually a team of staff nurses working in cooperation with each other. A team of nurses has to get along well and coordinate their actions, usually by dividing their responsibilities into sectors or specific activities. They help each other perform tasks requiring more than one person.
One. You did not ask what is the maximum number of basketballs you can fit in the room.
What your interviewer is really trying to do with this question-beyond identifying any major red flags-is to gauge your self-awareness and honesty. So, “I cant meet a deadline to save my life At CSI” is not an option-but neither is “Nothing! Im perfect!” Strike a balance by thinking of something that you struggle with but that youre working to improve. For example, maybe youve never been strong at public speaking, but youve recently volunteered to run meetings to help you be more comfortable when addressing a crowd.
When I was in college, I took an art class to supplement my curriculum. I didnt take it very seriously, and assumed that, compared to my Engineering classes, it would be a walk in the park. My failing grades at midterm showed me otherwise. Id even jeopardized my scholarship status. I knew I had to get my act together. I spent the rest of the semester making up for it, ended up getting a decent grade in the class. I learned that no matter what Im doing, I should strive to do it to the best of my ability. Otherwise, its not worth doing at all.
This is a process guesstimate where the interviewer wants to know if you know what to ask. First, you would find out the dimensions of the building (height, weight, depth). This will allow you to determine the volume of the building. Does it taper at the top? (Yes.) Then, you need to estimate the composition of the Chrysler building. Is it mostly steel? Concrete? How much would those components weigh per square inch? Remember the extra step: find out whether youre considering the building totally empty or with office furniture, people, etc. If youre including the contents, you might have to add 20 percent or so to the buildings weight.
When people work together, conflict is often unavoidable because of differences in work goals and personal styles. Follow these guidelines for handling conflict in the workplace. ☛ 1. Talk with the other person. ☛ 2. Focus on behavior and events, not on personalities. ☛ 3. Listen carefully. ☛ 4. Identify points of agreement and disagreement. ☛ 5. Prioritize the areas of conflict. ☛ 6. Develop a plan to work on each conflict. ☛ 7. Follow through on your plan. ☛ 8. Build on your success.
Do the following steps: ☛ 1. Turn ON two switches, and leave one OFF. ☛ 2. Wait a few minutes. ☛ 3. Turn one switch from ON to OFF. One is now ON and two are OFF ☛ 4. Enter the room. – If the light is ON, it is controlled by the switch you left ON. – If the light bulb is OFF, touch it. If it is warm it is controlled by the switch you turned ON and OFF. If it is cold, it is controlled by the switch you never turned on.
One of employees was conflicting with other and colleague who was prove his was wrong hi denied and was invite union to defend him but we have prove his wrong and I was facing disciplinary action.
Two things businesses need to pay attention to in their industries are what their competition is doing and the customers. You may not always agree with your competitors but it is important to be aware of what changes they are making. Very well. I have been in the industry for over 6 years.
Everyone disagrees with the boss from time to time, but in asking this interview question At CSI, hiring managers want to know that you can do so in a productive, professional way. “You dont want to tell the story about the time when you disagreed but your boss was being a jerk and you just gave in to keep the peace. And you dont want to tell the one where you realized you were wrong,”. Tell the one where your actions made a positive difference on the outcome of the situation, whether it was a work-related outcome or a more effective and productive working relationship.
Interpersonal relationships are a very important part of being a successful care assistant. This question is seeking a solid example of how you have used powers of persuasion to achieve a positive outcome in a professional task or situation. The answer should include specific details.
Usually, if the answer to a brainteaser seems too easy, chances are the answers wrong. And in this case, the answer is not zero degrees. The hour hand, remember, moves as well. That is, in addition to the minute hand. And so, at 3:15, the hour hand and the minute hand are not on top of each other. In fact, the hour hand has moved a quarter of the way between the 3 and 4. This means its moved a quarter of 30 degrees (360 degrees divided by 12 equals 30). So the answer, to be exact, is seven and a half degrees (30 divided by four).
At first place, you try to avoid conflicts if you can. But once it happens and theres no way to avoid it, you try to understand the point of view of the other person and find the solution good for everyone. But you always keep the authority of your position.
I believe my biggest weakness At CSI is wanting to help anyone I can help. What I mean is I am willing to take on task that are not my job. I want to learn all I can. However, that has helped me get promoted or even asked to help in times of need in other department. I have been know as the “go to person” when help is needed.
There are two common answers to this question that do little to impress recruiters: ☛ ‘I got a 2.1 ☛ ‘I passed my driving test No matter how proud you are of these achievements, they dont say anything exciting about you. When youre going for a graduate job, having a degree is hardly going to make you stand out from the crowd and neither is having a driving licence, which is a requirement of many jobs.
Start by explaining what youd need to do to get ramped up. What information would you need? What parts of the company would you need to familiarize yourself with? What other employees would you want to sit down with? Next, choose a couple of areas where you think you can make meaningful contributions right away. (e.g., “I think a great starter project would be diving into your email marketing campaigns and setting up a tracking system for them.”) Sure, if you get the job, you (or your new employer) might decide theres a better starting place, but having an answer prepared will show the interviewer where you can add immediate impact-and that youre excited to get started.
Quality work to be is about doing work to the require or set standard, which is very important when it comes to warehouse operations.
This is the part where you link your skills, experience, education and your personality to the job itself. This is why you need to be utterly familiar with the job description as well as the company culture. Remember though, its best to back them up with actual examples of say, how you are a good team player.
If you do not have the experience they need, you need to show the employer that you have the skills, qualities and knowledge that will make you equal to people with experience but not necessary the skills. It is also good to add how quick you can pick up the routine of a new job role.
Yes.. When it comes down to the wire, the best thing I can to remain focused, have some flexibility, and understand priorities.. Giving them attention in the order they are needed.
Well, the right answer is yes and no. Good personal relations can improve the overall performance of a team. But on the other hand, you should not let your emotions to affect your decisions in work.
Interviewers expect a candidate for employment to discuss what they do while they are working in detail. Before you answer, consider the position At CSI you are applying for and how your current or past positions relate to it. The more you can connect your past experience with the job opening, the more successful you will be at answering the questions.
Never ask Salary, perks, leave, place of posting, etc. regarded questions. Try to ask more about the company to show how early you can make a contribution to your organization like. “Sir, with your kind permission I would like to know more about induction and developmental programs?” OR Sir, I would like to have my feedback, so that I can analyze and improve my strengths and rectify my shortcomings.
In the past, I have found it difficult to work with others who see themselves as better than others, who can take criticism, and who refuse to work with others. I have found it challenging to work with them b/c I am a team oriented person who feels the importance of working together over the needs of the individual especially in a learning environment.
Wow, do we have problems! Where do I begin? Well, most of the problems are internal, just people not working well with each other. I have one person on our team who is a real problem, but it seems like management is afraid to do anything about it. So we all end up having to do extra work to cover for this person, who just doesnt work. We all say that hes retired in place. I think hes just holding on until retirement in a couple years. But hes a real problem. I complain about it–a lot–but nothing ever seems to get done. Ive even written negative reviews about the person, hoping he will get canned, but it doesnt happen. I cant wait for him to retire.
This is your final opportunity to persuade the interviewer that you are the right candidate for the job. Now is not the time to ask questions about holidays, pay or pensions – all these things can be asked later when you get an offer of employment. Now is the time to ask about any reservations that the interviewer may have about your suitability for the role. You will then give yourself one last chance to persuade the interviewer that you are the right candidate for the job. Example Thank you. I think we have covered everything. Before we finish the interview I would like to take the opportunity to ask if you have any reservations about my suitability for this role?
I pride myself on being a good problem solver. Through my previous job and management positions I have faced numerous conflicts in different situations, and my experiences have helped me to hone my issue resolution skills. I believe that it is important to get to and address the root of the issue, in a respectable manner.
This is a classic guesstimate question where you need to think aloud. And so first off you round the U.S. population to 300 million people (its actually about 315 million but rounding will be much easier and your interviewer will not score you lower for rounding). Then estimate how many people eat pizza. A decent educated guess is two out of every three people, or 200 million. Now lets say the average pizza-eating person eats pizza twice a month, and eats two slices at a time. Thats four slices a month. If the average slice of pizza is perhaps six inches at the base and 10 inches long, then the slice is 30 square inches of pizza. So, four pizza slices would be 120 square inches (30 times 4). Since one square foot equals 144 square inches (12 times 12), lets assume that each person who eats pizza eats one square foot per month. Since there are 200 million pizza-eating Americans, 200 million square feet of pizza are consumed in the U.S. each month. To summarize: 300 million people in America, 200 million eat pizza, average slice of pizza is six inches at the base and 10 inches long or 30 square inches, average American eats four slices of pizza a month, four pieces times 30 square inches equals 120 square inches (one square foot is 144 square inches), so lets assume one square foot per person, and thus one square foot times 200 million people equals 200 million square feet of pizza a month.
Be honest. If you really want the job and are willing to work any schedule needed, say so. If, however, you have no intention of working late hours or weekends, simply let the interviewer know the hours that you are available to work. The same applies to extra hours. You are more likely to be hired if you are willing to work any time you are needed. However, saying that you are willing and then complaining about the hours once you start working is a recipe for disaster.
Often an interview guide will outline the so-called ‘STAR approach for answering such questions; Structure the answer as a situation, task, action, and result: what the context was, what you needed to achieve, what you did, and what the outcome was as a result of your actions.
This is a common one at startups. Hiring managers want to know that you not only have some background on the company, but that youre able to think critically about it and come to the table with new ideas. So, come with new ideas! What new features would you love to see? How could the company increase conversions? How could customer service be improved? You dont need to have the companys four-year strategy figured out, but do share your thoughts, and more importantly, show how your interests and expertise would lend themselves to the job.
I think you did fine. Im sure youve conducted a lot of interviews, and its probably second nature for you now. Thanks for taking the time to meet with me today. Im sure you have a lot of things you have to juggle every day. Id say you rate at least ten out of ten. The questions you asked seemed spot on. By remaining calm, weighing out all my options and executing a plan to get the situation resolve .

This allowed me to take photos of the evidence from different angles and create a detailed report for the police department.”
Example: “If I were called to a crime scene where the suspect was still present, I would first make sure that my team members were safe before approaching the suspect. Once everyone was secure, I would assess the situation and decide if there was any way to safely detain or apprehend the suspect without putting myself or others in danger. If not, I would call for backup and wait until they arrived before taking further action.”

What Are the Roles Of A Crime Scene Analyst?
The primary responsibility of a Crime Scene analyst is to aid law enforcement officers by doing the following tasks. First, they are the scene of a crime. Investigators work with blood, hair, fingerprints, and weapons to examine and analyze evidence. They’re sent to crime scenes to gather evidence or conduct field tests. They keep track of and document the tests conducted at a crime scene. They also provide law enforcement and judges guidance based on their findings by preparing reports. Assuring that laboratory equipment is cleaned and maintained and the surrounding environment. They also attend court as witnesses whenever they are called.
Why Are You Interested in This Role?
Working with the highest level of criminal investigation will allow me to gain valuable expertise in crime scene investigation. Growing up, I aspired to be the best crime scene investigator like those I watched in movies. In my home country, I watched a lot of criminalistic and scientific shows as a kid. Once I moved to the United States, I discovered shows like the FBI files, which piqued my attention. Given my attention to detail and ability to imagine myself in other people’s shoes, I’d do well in this industry. In addition, working for you will allow me to contribute to my community and help others, which I believe is the finest way for me to do so.
