The Exalted Ruler, also known as the E. R. , is the President and Executive Officer of the Lodge. The E. R. is in charge of the Lodge’s entire business, social activities, and programs. She also serves as the chair of each Lodge meeting.
What is a stray elk?
A paid-up member of a Lodge who now resides under another Lodge’s jurisdiction is referred to as a “Stray Elk.” A person who has taken an Absolute Dimit or been expelled for failing to pay dues is not a Stray Elk.
