Account Manager Interview

Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SAP (Richmond Hill, ON) in Nov 2015

Interview

I approached this as a learning opportunity, having not engaged in the process since 12 years ago. First step was on the phone screen with the HR Coordinator. She was pretty thorough in reviewing CV information. Next was a face to face interview with VP Sales. He offered much more information on the company background, culture and strategy. Having both agreed that my experience wasn’t a perfect match for the immediate role, his questions were geared to finding a mutually beneficial match of my goals and working style to their environment. At the end he offered to connect me with a couple of his network contacts.
