I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shelter Insurance Companies (Kansas City, MO)

Insurance Agent Interview
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Shelter Insurance Companies in Nov 2021
Interview
Never applied, Was reached out to by a recruiter through Indeed. An hour long call where the recruiter talked the entire time about the company, and making sure I knew that it was not only commission based pay. Never asked me anything except if I had questions. No actual interview took place. Didn’t seem to care at all about me and if I was actually a good fit for the company.
- They didn’t ask me anything. Red Flag

Insurance agents sell and service insurance policies, like auto, home, life, and health insurance. They work with customers to determine their insurance needs and then find the policy that best fits those needs. Insurance agents must be licensed by the state in which they work and must complete continuing education courses to maintain their license. Many insurance agents have a four-year degree, but it’s not required; some companies will provide training to help you obtain your license and learn about the insurance industry.
