I thought I would offer some tips for when the interview does happen. Most importantly, make sure you know what Southwest Airlines stands for, what its mission and vision are, and what department you want to work for. I believe it is beneficial to inquire about the job opening and the department in general. For example, what do you see yourself doing in this role in three to six months? What do you think will be the biggest challenge for me in this role? What extra training do you offer? Also, don’t chew gum or have gum in your mouth during the interview. Also, keep your phone out of sight while you wait to be called in for the interview and don’t look at it during the interview. I think that’s very unprofessional. I think you should wear nice pants and a nice shirt. For me, business casual means soft makeup, simple jewelry, and a neutral lip color.
