Internship Interview
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at WPP (Kuala Lumpur) in Aug 2022
Interview
the interviewer is so unprofessional. I called for confirmation at first, didn’t know they will conduct interview on the spot. He didn’t even introduce themself and just jump into iv questions without any introduction or notice. The surrounding was so noisy, barely hear the questions. I was flabbergasted and screwed my iv.

Business Development Manager Interview
I interviewed at WPP
Interview
Short Interview where basic questions were asked. The interview was very much part of a vetting process with the HR team who would in turn hand over a shortlist to the agency (Landor & Fitich) team. They explained it would be the first step in a two part interview for the role.
- Tell us a little about your experience in agency.
Example: “I am interested in working at WPP because I have always admired the company’s innovative approach to marketing. In my research, I found out that WPP has been named one of the most creative companies in the world for seven years in a row. This tells me that the company encourages employees to think outside the box and be innovative. I would love to work in such a forward-thinking environment.”
WPP is a global company that works with clients and vendors from all over the world. The interviewer may ask this question to understand how you would approach working in such an international environment. Use your answer to highlight any experience you have working with people from different cultures or backgrounds.
Example: “I am comfortable managing multiple projects at once because I can organize my tasks into actionable steps and set realistic deadlines for myself. In my last role, I was responsible for managing three major accounts simultaneously. Each account required me to create marketing strategies, develop social media campaigns and implement digital advertising tactics. I learned how to balance each project while still meeting client expectations.”
This question is an opportunity to show your enthusiasm for the company and its values. When you answer, make sure to highlight what attracted you to WPP in the first place. Consider mentioning a specific aspect of the company that interests you or something you learned about it from your research.
Example: “I have a system for managing my time that helps me stay on track with projects and client expectations. I use project management software to create weekly, monthly and quarterly goals for myself and my team members. This allows us to see what we need to accomplish each week and gives us an idea of when we should expect certain deliverables. It also helps me identify any potential issues or roadblocks before they become major problems.”
